Thank you Mr Brown

Following the devastating earthquake in Christchurch on Feb 22nd 2011, our school held a fundraiser to help raise money for those effected by the quake. We posted our days events on Youtube to send our love and best wishes to Christchurch.
Last week we received a special gift in the mail from a former teacher Mr Brown now teaching in Christchurch, we were humbled and grateful to have received such a lovely taonga.
On behalf of all the Staff & Students here at Randwick Park School we would like to thank Mr Brown for kindly donating this canvas picture of the Christchurch Cathedral. Christchurch you are still in our thoughts, hearts and prayers. KIA KAHA.

Pasifika Week

These past two weeks we have been celebrating all things Pasifika, the people, the diverse cultures and the language. Mrs Fa'alava'au has been running competitions throughout the week. The Pasifika books have been out on display in the library for students to come in and read during their morning tea and lunch breaks. We look forward to next Fridays assembly which will include a performance but some of our pasifika and ESOL students.
